Baby steps count, [FIRST NAME GOES HERE]!

Hey Reader,

Last week, we talked about how it’s totally normal to feel unsure — especially when you’re breaking old patterns and stepping into something unfamiliar.

But here’s another layer to that:
You don’t have to have it all figured out to start feeling more steady.

Sometimes clarity doesn’t come from a big breakthrough — it sneaks in through small shifts.
You might notice the direction you’re heading… and taking little steps to move that way more deliberately.
Those steps start to add up.
It’s how the learning — and the parenting — begin to take shape in your house, in your way.

💛 This week’s encouragement:

Try this one thing:

Name three things your kids learned this week that didn’t come from you — at least not directly.
Maybe it was something they picked up from a video, a conversation, a random observation, or just trying something out on their own.

I’d tell you to make a mental note… but honestly, you’ll forget. (I know I would have!)

So open a note on your phone and call it “Independently Learned.”
Every time you notice something new, add it.

When you see that list grow, you’ll start to realize:

The learning belongs to the learner.
It doesn’t need you to push it, direct it, or drag it across some imaginary finish line.

And as that list grows, something else will shift too —
You’ll start to rewire your own brain.
Noticing more.
Fearing less.

And if it feels hard to see that on your own sometimes — you’re not alone.
That’s what we talk about inside the Creating Confidence Membership — real parents sharing what they’re seeing, what’s working, and what still feels shaky.

Maybe it’s time to join us there.

Looking forward to giving you more support!
